Slip Testing Ltd has provided independent floor slip resistance testing since 2001. From our base in Cramlington, Northumberland, we test floors for businesses and public buildings across the UK.

Our team has many years of hands-on experience with flooring, surface preparation and floor treatments. We understand how floors are made and laid, how they wear and how they're cleaned, which helps us explain not just how a floor performs but why.

Every test is carried out with a calibrated pendulum to BS EN 16165:2021, the method preferred by the HSE because it reflects the conditions in which slips actually happen. We test wet and dry, assess the surrounding factors that affect slip risk, and upload your results to our online portal the same day.
